It’s hard to fully accept the news:\u00a0 Steve Jobs has died.<\/p>\n

Steve Jobs was a visionary and a genius in designing and marketing innovative tech products.\u00a0 My iPod is one of my most prized possessions.<\/p>\n

While volumes can (and likely will) be written about him and his career and hard-driven personality, I’d like to simply share a quote from his 2005 remarks to Stanford graduates.\u00a0 It makes a powerful statement for each of us to consider:<\/p>\n

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.” – Steve Jobs *<\/p>\n

May he find peace, and may his family find comfort.<\/p>\n
